How many bottles can I expect per day?

Bottles are meant to be rare and precious. You should be receiving around 4-5 Bottles a day. This is to make sure that every received Bottle is valuable and precious, which leads to deeper conversations and greater friendships.

I feel like my bottles are not being opened?

Every Bottles you send are received by someone who used the app within the past 24 hours, to increase the odds of finding an active users. Keep in mind the different timezone the receiver might be in: they might be sleeping when they received your Bottle, or they might simply be busy: give them time, that's the whole point of Bottled.

I don't receive any bottles anymore, why?

Make sure you didn't turn on the "holiday mode" from your settings inside the app, that would stop any bottles from reaching you.

My Bottle remains unopened for a long time with the same user, what can I do?

If your bottle remains iddle on the same user's shore for more than 24 hours, you can release it manually to someone else from your page "My Bottles". We plan on making this release automatic, soon.

I send and receive many Bottles, I don't remember which user got which Bottle. Where can I find the Bottle that started the conversation?

You can find your kept bottles inside your treasure chest:

Open your chat, then tap on the three dots at the top right corner, to find "open my treasure chest". There you will find the bottle that started the conversation.

My adventure got removed from the top, why?

Could be one of the following reasons:

Remember: top adventures are meant to share meaningful content with the rest of the world. Be inspiring, teach them something new about your country or culture: allow them to travel through these adventures!

I heard about "reputation". What is it, how can I lose or win some?

Reputation helps differentiate users who send good content, from those who might send inappropriate content. It also allows you to unlock items and features.

On the other hand, if you get flagged and our monitoring team confirm the content as inappropriate, your reputation goes down to zero. (or you might even get banned if this is not the first time)

I have deleted a friend by accident, can you help me retrieve them?

You don't need our help, you only need a Parrot! You can get one from your Merchant Ship inside the app: It allows you to find a very specific user by their EXACT username (case sensitive) and country. (if the user did not delete their account)

A friend suddenly disappeared from my list, without a notification that they deleted me. Why?

Unfortunately if a conversation suddenly disappeared without leaving a trace, it can only mean one thing: The user decided to delete their own account.

There is not much we can do about that, we have to respect their decision.

My chat messages disappeared, what happened?

As soon as they are read by both users, your chat messages are stored locally on your phone and remove from our servers, to better protect and respect your privacy. If you uninstall the app to reinstall it later, you will lose all your shared messages. (Every other data and friends will remain safe however, no worries!)

I cannot remember my password, what can I do?

In order to reset your password, you must first make sure that your registered email is a valid one that you have access to. Then, simply logout and go to the Login page - or go to your settings inside the app - where you will find a button "Forgot something? Reset your password". Tap on it, and it should send you an email where you can reset your password.

My account says that I was banned for not respecting the terms of use, what happened?

This can happen for two reasons:

Please refer to the ( Terms of Use ), article 6 "Restrictions" to understand better what you might have done wrong. Please also note that "Follow me on instagram / add me on snapchat / subscribe to my youtube channel" are a form of ads, or self promotion, that are prohibited in Bottled if they add absolutely no value for the receiver. If reasonable, we may give you a second chance. Send us an email if you need assistance or if you feel like it was a mistake, and we will look into this together.

Where can I get secret codes?

Oh so you heard about them? 😏 According to the pirate's legend, if you rate our Facebook page 5 stars and send us the screenshot at contact@bottledapp.com, you will be handsomely rewarded with a secret code worth 5 gold coins... ( facebook.com/appbottled )

The app is not translated in my language, why?

How we wish we could have it translated in every single languages! We are currently working with many translators to help us with this. If you feel like helping as well, do not hesitate to contact us, any help is welcome and greatly appreciated.
